At the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, we are researching questions of nutrition-relevant modulation of biomarkers in relation to physiological and pathophysiological processes.

This affects the kidneys and the effect of inflammation, cancer and neurological diseases at events in humans and animals.

Another focus area represents the Nutriproteomics to identify with the task of target molecules in food and in the body for nutritive and non-nutritive food components.
